Red Rope is a national club for walkers and climbers with socialist and green ethics.
We go country walking, hill-walking, rock-climbing, and mountaineering, plus the usual get-togethers in pubs and teashops. There is plenty to join in with, whether you want to really stretch yourself, or just gently explore the outdoors.
Day Walks, Longer Trips, Socials
We do outdoor stuff in wonderful places all over the UK. Recent trips have included winter walking in Scotland, kayaking on the Wye, the annual gathering in the Peaks, tea-shop walks in Shropshire, backpacking in Yorkshire, walks along the Chiltern Way and South Downs. About Red Rope
